Claudia J McLaren

Claudia Jean Allred McLaren, passed away February 15, 2024 at her home in Vernal, UT. She was born July 20, 1940, to Kathleen Kidd and Claude Allred in Vernal.

Claudia graduated from Uintah High School in 1959. She married Dale W. McLaren on February 3^rd, 1973. They were blessed with 5 children; Traci, Wes, Lee, Jeani, and Jodi.

She was a daughter, a beloved mother, a caregiver to many other children through the years. She loved her lawn and garden. There was nothing more important to her than her grandchildren and taking them on adventures. She loved to tell her kids about nature and wild flowers. She loved gathering rocks on every walk she took.

Claudia is survived by her children; Traci (Vince) Wilkes, Wes (Sarah) McLaren, Lee (Stacey) McLaren, Jeani Hughes, Jodi (Jared) Kelsey, 13 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.

She is preceded in death by her sweetheart Dale McLaren, parents Kathleen and Claude Allred, many aunts, uncles, cousins and her grandparents.

A Celebration of her life/ Open House will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 10-12pm at the Ashley 3^rd Ward Chapel (235 E 600 S) 

Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park at 2pm under the direction of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
