Cathy D Golightly

Cathy Darlene Golightly, 74, of Manila, Utah passed away peacefully with her husband and daughters by her side. She was born January 14, 1949 in Canandaigua, New York.
When asked to help with anything for the community she loved so dearly, Cathy wouldn’t say no. She enjoyed volunteering with Search and Rescue. She had a love for anything outdoors. And her love of crocheting was felt by numerous friend and family.
to include her children and beloved grandchildren.

Cathy had a love of music that stretched from the 30's + 40's Big Band Era to the 50s and lob's Do-wop.
She held many callings over the years with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is proceeded in death by her maternal parents Edna and Gordon Dobbs and her paternal parents Fredrick and Avis Hackett.
She is survived by her husband and best friend of 48yrs Douglas Golightly, 5 children Thomas Dobbs of Canandaigua, NY, Lori (Mark) Hopkins of Pocatello, Idaho, James Schwartz of Milroy, PA, Georgianna (Nick) Moore of Brooklyn, MS, and Holly (Kelcey) Guy of Bellville, KS, 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday July 13, 2023 from 5-7 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints a Manila Ward.

Funeral Services will be held July 14, 2023 at l1am with a short visitation from 10-11 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Manila Ward.

Burial will be in the Manila Cemetery, A luncheon will follow at the Church.
