Carole Gardner Colson, 93, died peacefully on October 8, 2020 in St George, Utah. Carole was born September 4, 1927, in Delta, Utah, daughter of Thomas Kelsey and Bessie Sprouse Kelsey. She married Elden Gardner November 25, 1949 in Kansas City, MO. Elden passed away in 2012 and Carole married Robert Colson in 2014. 

Carole was a professional singer and dancer in her younger years. Elden and Carole owned and operated many various successful businesses throughout their years together. Among those businesses, preschools in Ogden, Brigham City and Tremonton; Hitchin Post Restaurant in Morgan; ranches in Deep Creek and Randlett; and the Bull Ring in Winslow, AZ, Price, Roosevelt and Vernal. 

She is survived by her husband Robert; children Lance (Jill) Gardner, Vernal, Utah, Robyn (Ron) Reay, Riverton, Utah; daughter-in-law Linda Gardner; grandchildren Shawn (Sarah) Gardner, Saige (Brett) Davis, Seth Galley; and 8 great grandchildren.
Carole is preceded in death by her parents, husband Elden, brother Roland Kelsey, brother Clyde Kelsey, sister Vida Simmons, son Tom Gardner and son Layne Gardner. 

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday October 13, 2020 at the Maeser Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Blackburn and Sons Vernal Mortuary.
