Caleb Hughes

Caleb Mitchell Hughes, 31, of Casper, Wyoming, formerly of Minot, North Dakota and Columbia, Missouri, found his peace on Saturday, January 21, 2023. Caleb had a very caring soul and would do anything to help those in need. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and anything outdoors. He was very mechanical and could fix anything! Caleb and Jennifer’s adventurous spirits are how they first met at age 13 on an ambassador trip to Australia, what took them first to Minot, North Dakota, then to Casper, Wyoming to live, and inspired many family adventures in several states.

Caleb, we are so blessed to have had 31 years with you. We love you and will miss you for the rest of this life until we see you in the next. You are gone but will never be forgotten. I know you and Cameron are together and are watching over and protecting us. Fly high Bud!

Caleb is survived by his wife Jennifer and their three children: Livia, Caden and Carli Hughes; his parents Kelly Hughes and Darcel Walker, Aiken, South Carolina, and Randy and Libby Hughes, Kansas City, Kansas; one sister, Kelsey Hughes, Aiken, South Carolina; two nieces: Brook-Lyn Toole and Aeliana Toole; one nephew, Chad Toole, Aiken, South Carolina; maternal grandparents Jonalee and Bruce Beard, Chillicothe, Missouri; Jack Griffin, Trenton, Missouri; paternal grandparents Ronald and Virginia Hughes, Chillicothe, Missouri, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family who love him dearly. Caleb was preceded in death by one brother, Cameron Andrew Hughes, Greenville, South Carolina.

There will be an open Celebration of Life gathering held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 12-4 pm at Reichmann Indoor Pavilion, 2300 E. Walnut Street, Columbia, MO 65201. Friends and family are welcome to drop in and share memories.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Caleb’s children’s memorial fund at www.everloved.com or directly to Wells Fargo.
