Bruce Raymond Millecam

Bruce Raymond Millecam passed away on September 3, 2026, in Provo, Utah. He was 89 years old.

Bruce was born on April 19, 1937, in Vernal, Utah, to Sarah Marie Rosa Baxter and Hendrick (Henry) Baardwyk Millecam. He grew up in Vernal and attended Central Elementary, Uintah Junior High, and Uintah High School, graduating in May 1956.

Bruce was known for his mechanical ability, his skill as a restaurateur, his love of the outdoors. Over the course of his working life, he was an all-around handyman and oilfield worker, with jobs that took him across the West: he worked for Utah Motor Company after high school, then spent five years with Dowell, two years with P.I.E., and four years with Schlumberger. He also worked in the restaurant business alongside his brother, Don Millecam — first in Aspen, Colorado, then – as general manager of the Car 19 restaurant – in Park City, Utah.

Some of Bruce's best memories were snowmobiling and exploring the Uinta Mountains with his good friend Harold Pope. He also enjoyed spending time at the Vernal Airport with fellow aviation enthusiasts. In his later years, he enjoyed flying his flight simulator from Vernal, Utah, to Mesquite, Nevada, almost daily. At last check, he had logged more than 2,000 hours flying his trusty (simulated) Cessna 172.

Bruce is survived by his two sons: Kevin (Mary Beth) Millecam, of Orem, Utah, and Marc (Tanya) Millecam, of West Haven, Utah; and seven grandchildren: Khristen (Jared) Massic, Rashael (Matthew) Dias, Bryce (Amanda) Millecam, Cameron (Megan) Millecam, Emily (Landan) Reiss, Sara (Austin) Anderson, and Andrew (Hailee) Millecam. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Rosa Millecam, and his siblings: Audrey (Paul) Lyman, Henry (Yvonne) Millecam, George (Helen) Millecam, Maye (Bert) Duncan, Laura (Bob) Morrison, and Don (Connie) Millecam
