Bonnie Rae Moon

Our devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend always putting others first, Bonnie Rae Bair Moon died at her home surrounded by her loving family in Jensen, Utah on May 22, 2018.

Bonnie was born in Woods Cross Utah to James Golden Bair & Geneve Hogan on September 19th 1934, she spent her youth on a ranch in Glenwood Springs Colorado, where she learned to love the mountains.

Bonnie Married Leon Thomas Moon on March 5th 1960, & they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on February 9th 1962.

Bonnie was driven & accomplished She worked at the hospital as a CNA & had her EMT certification. She touched the lives of so many people & was involved in multiple community events including;

4-H, Relief Society, Temple Work, Uintah County Fair Parade, River Rafting

Bonnie’s first love was her family she devoted her life to her 9 children, 30 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren & 2 great great grandchildren.

Bonnie spent her life teaching her family about charity & love through example.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Jensen LDS Ward Chapel (8775 East 6000 South). A viewing Friday from 6-8 PM at the Blackburn & Sons Vernal Mortuary and at the Chapel one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Jensen Cemetery, under the care and direction of the Blackburn and Sons Vernal Mortuary and Cremation Care.
