Betty Sue Greene, died December 6, 2015 in the Ashley Regional Hospital in Vernal, Utah. Betty was born August 17, 1937 in Belmont, Mississippi to Luther and Gracie Shelton Campbell. She graduated in 1956 from New Site High School in New Site, Mississippi. She married Gerald A. Burns in 1958. They had four daughters then later divorced. She attended the Baptist faith. In 1984 she married John K. Greene. Mr. Green passed away in 2010. Betty worked hard in her garden and loved her flowers. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, her parents, a grandson Alan Lewis and a nephew Matthew Givens along with five of her siblings. She is survived by her four daughters: Susan (Steve) Miller, Tammie Burns, Johnnie Burns, Jeri (Virgil) Carmickle and Joseph Bakker; Adele, Nicole, & John Jr. Greene. She was blessed with nine Grandchildren: Alvin (Tiffany) Lewis, Phil Winn, Lucus Nickolson, Kara (Dustin) Vickery, Jessica Miller. Jake Rasmussen, Darenda James, Abbie McBroon and seven great-grandchildren Brittany, Gerald, Timothy, Aiden, Anthon, Aaron, Amilia. She is also survived by a brother, Dean Campbell and two sisters: Ruth James and Jan Chin. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. in the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. A viewing will be one hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate contributions in her name to the many charities she supported monthly: St. Judes, American Cancer Society, Mans Homeless shelter in Salt Lake City or ASPCA.
