Ardith Harrison Wolf born July 16, 1929 in Vernal, Utah to Aurthur and Ruth Gardiner Harrison passed away March 27, 2024. 

Ardith graduated Uintah High School 1947 then went to Salt Lake City and took Nurse’s Training at the LDS Hospital. She graduated from Salt Lake Community College School of Nursing in 1950. 

Ardith spent the next 30 years working at hospitals in Salt Lake City, UT, Los Angeles, CA and Midwest City, Ok- mostly in respiratory therapy, emergency room, intensive care, and coronary care units. She also worked for some time in a doctor’s office in Oklahoma City, OK. 

Ardith married William Edward “Bill” Wolf in 1956 at the Los Angeles County Courthouse. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Bill died of cancer in 1996 at Midwest City, OK. 

Ardith was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and held many callings in Relief Society, Sunday School, and Young Women. 

She did volunteer work for Meals on Wheels, Ronald McDonald House, and Food Bank. Over the years she took a lot of classes at Rose State College. 

She enjoyed temple work and spent a lot of time collecting genealogy and histories of the Wolf family. 

After living in Oklahoma for 38 years, she moved back to Vernal, UT in 2001. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and she liked working in the museum as a Company Officer. 

She and Bill took a lot of trips. After his death, she and her sister Jean went on many trips together- sometimes on cruises, bus tours, 3 weeks in England, and visited many temples and church history sites. At times, they were joined by 1, 2, or 3 fun loving nieces- Norma Jean, Cheryl, and Geraldine. 

She was proceeded in death by her husband Bill Wolf, parents, brothers Arthur Trevier Harrison, David Kent Harrison, and Kermit Harrison, her sister Jean Rogers. She is survived by brother Farron (Alene) Harrison of LaVerne, CA- and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews- who she dearly loved. 

There will be no funeral held at Ardith’s request. Burial will be in Oklahoma City, Ok beside her beloved husband. 

There will be a viewing held at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary prior to Burial in Oklahoma.
