Born to James T. and Effie Holfeltz on June 8, 1932, Glenda Rae was the second youngest of six children and also had ten half sisters and brothers. The family lived in Glines and operated a small family farm. She was a member of the Uintah High School Class of 1950. Glenda Rae married Gilbert Brown on January 30th of that same year.
